Salt Breeze Early Learning truly believes that it takes village to raise a child. We also believe villages need to be nurtured and developed. Project Recap: Over the last few weeks Salt Breeze Early Learning has been working on a very special Thanksgiving project. Our students and staff have been learning what it means to be a part of a community. We partnered with several area businesses and individuals to put together Thanksgiving baskets for over two dozen of our neighbors in Pittsfield and our surrounding communities. We were not only able to provide turkey, side dishes, fresh veg and fruits, but we also were able to provide clothing, diapers, wipes, and other household essentials to folks who needed a little extra holiday cheer this year. We had the most delightful day yesterday meeting members of our community and hearing folk’s stories. Thank you to the students and faculty at Maine Central Institute, RehabMaine Massage & Physical Therapy , Eureka Farms , The Apple Farm Stand , and several others for your generous donations to the project. Great job to the Salt Breeze Early Learning family. This project was the cause of many, many, smiles (and some dancing!).
