At Salt Breeze Learning, part of our mission has always been to provide meaningful learning opportunities for people of all ages. While we work extensively with young children in our early learning program, we also believe in fostering professional growth among our staff through the Maine Early Childhood Education (ECE) Apprenticeship Program.

Apprenticeship is an industry-guided career pathway that allows individuals to earn while they learn—gaining hands-on experience, attending classes, and earning a nationally recognized certificate along the way.

Salt Breeze Early Learning is proud to be a sponsoring employer for the Maine ECE Registered Apprenticeship Program. Our lead teacher serves as a registered mentor, and one of our assistant teachers is currently a registered apprentice. Through this program, both mentor and apprentice engage in extensive training and coursework that strengthen their skills and enhance the quality of care and education we provide to every child in our program.
